DropBio® 3D Lubrigel (Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract combination solution), a product developed by Drop (Nanjing) Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. obtained an invention patent certificate on November 18, 2022! Compared with the linear molecular structure of γ-PGA, the dense chambers and pores of DropBio® 3D Lubrigel allow its internal space to accommodate more water, further improving its water-locking ability; it can also be used as a carrier for other drugs or active molecules to release them slowly and prolong their effects, and can be widely used in cosmetics, medicine, medical beauty and other fields.   DropBio recruited volunteers for in vivo moisturizing clinical trials. The moisturizing effects of DropBio® 3D Lubrigeland non-cross-linked linear structure moisturizers were compared by testing skin moisture content, transepidermal water loss rate and skin gloss. The final experimental results show that the cross-linked structure (i.e. DropBio® 3D Lubrigel) is more outstanding in moisturizing and locking water, and it also proves that the three-dimensional network structure formed by the dense chambers interpenetrating each other can better lock in moisture and moisturize for a long time! In addition, the skin surface is not an absolutely smooth surface. Its specular reflectivity (i.e. glossiness) is not only determined by the refractive index of the epidermal stratum corneum, but also related to the roughness of the epidermis. When the roughness of the epidermis is greater than the wavelength of the incident light, the epidermis will produce diffuse reflection in addition to specular reflection.
