DropPrev® EC10 is a liquid preservative for cosmetics which is composed of caprylyl glycol and ethylhexylglycerol. The ethylhexylglycerol affects the surface tension of microbial cell membrane, thus improving the preservative ability of caprylyl glycol. DropPrev® EC10 demonstrates broad-spectrum antibacterial efficacy against pathogens, coupled with a non-corrosive formulation and high safety margins. Its water solubility (<0.5% concentration) ensures ease of application.
