Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a multifunctional neuropeptide:
1.Reduce wrinkles effect: It acts as a topical neuromuscular inhibitor, targeting the SNARE complex to suppress the release of catecholamines, which are neurotransmitters that trigger muscle contractions. This helps relax facial expression muscles and smooth out existing fine lines and wrinkles.
2.Prevent wrinkle formation: By inhibiting muscle contractions, it effectively minimizes the formation of new dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions, such as crow's feet and forehead lines.
3.Through its mechanism of relaxing facial muscles, it comprehensively improves the appearance of expression lines and is suitable for anti-aging and anti-wrinkle skincare formulas, often referred to as a "Botox-like" ingredient.
